"In my teaching I focus on a balanced mixture of musical understanding and expressiveness as well as a necessary measure of the technique required for this - but I will never bore my students with pages and pages of technical exercises.“
Born in Vienna in 1981.
Studied jazz guitar (artistic main subject) and instrumental and vocal pedagogy at the Jam Music Lab private university
After numerous projects and some recordings - among them guitars for the album "Es gibt kan Gott" by Sigi Maron - I am currently working as musical director, organizer and guitarist with the band "The Rocksteady Conspiracy", with whom there are also some releases. I also work as a DJ from time to time and am involved as a volunteer organizer of concerts in the Viennese music scene.
"From beginner lessons to fingerstyle and electric guitar, I can cover a wide range of musical approaches and am constantly working on new material.
My pedagogical goal is to inspire people (young and old) for music and to open horizons. I do not focus on technical skills but on emotional and individual expression. “
Born 1989 in Prien/Chiemsee (D).
Studied jazz guitar / pedagogy at the Vienna Music Institute.
Music has always been the center of my life. Even though my professional existence took a detour to study history, I have always worked on musical projects and tried to improve my skills as a teacher.
Since 10 years I am also on stage with different projects and bands. Various tours and concerts have taken me all over Austria, Germany, large parts of Europe and as far as New York. Musically, I mainly play Jazz/Blues (e.g. the Foobyrds, Two for One, Cremer/Günther Duo) as well as Reggae and Ska (e.g. Brain Drain, Faia Salamanda, CellaRootz).
"I am happy to pass on to my students the many experiences I have gained during my concert activity. In my daily pedagogical work, the individual development of the musical and artistic abilities of my students, regardless of age, is the focus of my attention. With every new student, every new pupil, you take on a new challenge. This is a point I particularly appreciate in my profession."
Born 1993 in Wels.
Studied jazz guitar (instrumental pedagogy) at the VMI Vienna Music Institute
Stylistically I clearly come from the Blues/Rock corner, meanwhile I feel more like belonging to the Jazz/Funk/Soul faction.
I've been on stage for about 10 years, at the beginning with Garage Bands and later with the HTL Big Band. Since my Jazz studies I play several projects at the same time (Got'Ya, Mr. Puffins Soulgarden, Hirngespinster, ...)
Besides my activities as a musician and teacher, I am also active as an organizer of a festival called HEBO Open Air.
"Music has always played the central role in my life, also through my time at the HTL (electronics) I was able to push the technical sides as well as working with digital instruments. "
"Musicality is in each of us, it is up to me to find it and bring it to life. My educational goal is to inspire people (young and old) for music and to open horizons. My focus is not on technical skills but on emotional and individual expression. “
Born 1985 in Bregenz.
Jazz guitar/IGP studies at the Jam Music Lab.
Stylistically I come from the Rock/Metal direction and have also been involved in band projects for over 10 years (Amer, Black Inhale, Ex-Before The Fall, Discure).
My engagement has taken me to many stages all over Europe and will continue to do so in the future.
Nevertheless, during my studies I have been dealing with many facets of guitar playing. From fingerstyle to jazz to blues/funk, I know all the different techniques and I am passionate about passing them on.
"My pedagogical approach is patience, joy in playing and systematic lessons, which I adapt individually to each student. I see myself as a reliable companion and try to solve all musical ambiguities in an understandable way. "
